Idea for Operating Systems

Local... Not Remote

I can't help but think of how awesome and useful it would be to be able to have two (or more) user account sessions running simultaneously on my computer. Each stream from an abstracted kernel dividing (unifying) the drivers to output to two (or more) screens. With one for one user and another screen for another user.

I know it's a niche demand but either Windows or MacOS would have a valuable trump card to include this multi user functionality in their distributions.

I expect some OS to already have this simultaneous multi-user support as a feature, but it seems that it is too logistically complex to support on OS' applicable to varying hardware.
